This is what I got when trying to copy from a Samba share using Win XP Home. And believe it or not, the copy succeeded.

Yeah, right, legacy code never dies!

Last week our department met in a closed meeting to present progress of our group, its different directions, and to discuss and sync on common goals. Quite motivating indeed and good to see what other people are working on and where their interests lie. I found it good for focusing as a group too. Note to self: Have a ‘Klausurtagung’ with yourself some day to sync and set some goals right!

This is the first posting in this (my) new blog. It’s not spectacular but hey, it is still the first of its kind! More to come …
